Thursday Evening
Mama Bear Apologetics Guide to Sexuality by Hillary Morgan Ferrer
Led by Lena Ellingburg
September 26, October 24, and November 21 | 6:30pm | Room 203
Starting from an early age, kids are being fed damaging misinformation about sexuality, gender identity, and human biology. As a parent, it is up to you to help your children understand God’s truth about these integral concepts. This book will equip you to understand God’s design for sex, marriage, and family; to identify the tactics being used to trick children into adopting an unbiblical view of sexuality under the guide of Christian-sounding words like love, identity, tolerant, and justice; and to teach your kids how to treat those who hold different beliefs.

Led by Emily Kachmarsky
October 15 at Emily Kachmarsky’s home in Huntersville
Your most trying moments as a mother can quickly spiral into discouragement, hopelessness, and sometimes even resentment toward God or your family—partly because our culture has conditioned us to believe that anything this hard can’t possibly be good for us. When you begin to see struggles as a necessary part of God’s plan for your spiritual growth, you can discover supernatural peace and purpose, even when you’re down in the deepest trenches of motherhood.

Tuesday Morning
Revelation by Jen Wilkin
Led by Kathy Jackson & Carol Ross
6:45am | beginning September 17 | meets virtually
Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Why don’t we see it that way?
Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse Bible study, Jen Wilkin helps you discover how the last book of the Bible—the culmination of God's great story—speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age.

Job
Led by Karen Renzo
9:30am | beginning September 18
The ancient Book of Job is likely the very first book written and included in the Biblical canon. The themes of Job are deep and universal. Not one of us has escaped a time of suffering or tragedy in our lives and perhaps have questioned God’s intentions.
There will be much to learn as we observe Job’s troubles, the efforts of his friends to explain his sufferings, and as we deal with our own attitudes regarding how God works in the struggles in our own lives. Come join us for times of rich discussion on this extraordinary book of the Bible! You will only need to bring your Bible, a notebook, and pen.
